I can't find anything that displays bandwidth used by a particular node/ip in a network.I want to find the bandwidth used by a particular internet user in a LAN. Internet is provided using proxy.

Very good software Does and very good job and shows me if my network is slowing down for some reason.

i have not ISA firewall, but i have Sonic Wall firewall.so i want a tool i can install on my machine (windows 7 Ultimate) to monitor all network client traffic Rx and Tx.unfortunately NBMonitor Network Bandwidth Monitor allow my only monitoring my PC\'s network card traffic.

I haven\'t had a chance to exchaustively test the program yet, but I have set it up to monitor the local connnections and the data and graphs that comes back looks really good. I\'ll keep using it. If it keeps looking good, I\'ll look at purchasing it for my organization.

Was unable to install on Vista Ult 64 version. Setup would start but window displaying the setup info was minimized and could not be restored or made visible at any point. From reviews this would have been a great program for my needs but, better luck next time. Tried installing/downloading 5x.

Well, PRTG is very useful for me especially an "Auto Discovery" tool.Also,I enjoy its nice GUI

I do not have anything good to say. Tried to install on Vista Home Premium, SP1 but the install keept on hanging. It did leave a half install system that was a mess to clean.

Good, but no application-based analysis PRTG is a nice'n'easy way to monitor stuff and its port-based analysis is good. The one thing it still misses is the ability to tell me which application is using all my bandwidth. Port-based analysis gets part way there, but that won't tell me which app is talking too much when all the apps talk over port 80. What I really want to know is how much each of my apps is phoning home. Windows badly needs this since so many windows programs phone home without user control on how often. Bandwidth usage meter by process would do the trick.

PRTG easy to use PRTG this software is very good to use and easy.

internet monitoring for a wireless DSL Modem Hello,The program interface is very friendly but i couldn't use it to monitor the internet traffic on my children laptops. we use wireless DSL modem D-Link G604T/Tx in our home to connect to the internet and i expected i can monitor the traffic directly on the modem itself.MEASAK

Chat logs Overall I like IM Monitor, however in testing, the chat log does not record chats from AIM, which is the primary reason I tried the program.

Crashed Crashed all three times and shut down my PC. Had to do a system restore 3 times.

Pretty good recorder, but the converter a bit slow, why not record at once in an usual movie format?

Didnt work It didnt record anything. Tried a few times. Status bar says its ready to record. I click on record and when recording is done it asks if i want to view it. Nothing comes up or any files saved in the output directory. It just DIDN'T WORK...

Opinion I'm still learning the many facilities available with PRTG Network monitor, but from what I have already discovered, it more than meets my requirements and is an excellent piece of software - more then 'Fit for Purpose'. It does what it says on the box.

PRTG seems very potent. my primary use, to monitor my internet connection uptime, has been reached.

Couldn`t get the program to work I would like to use the program to perform the Skype-in function for South Africa since skype-in is not available here and I would dedicate a pots line here to serve as a skype-in number.I have not been able to test it as there is a repeated message indicating that a skype component is missing.I would use the program to forward a call from a pots line to an inter-skype link to a remote computer

Well, i thought i could use it to plug my normal telephone device in the modem conector of my computer in order to answer and make Skype phone calls. I think I was wrong couse I did all I could to make it work. Finally i realized that the software wasn\'t meant to do what i needed. Anyway thank you very much for leting me try it.succes!Cristián.

Not Connected with Skype

Dear Sir,I installed it, but skype doesn't recognize it. I am sure I did something wrong here. The purpose of installing this programm is that I want to connect to modem via skype in order to use a diagnostics (third party) program. This program uses the internal modem of my notebookAny suggestions I would welcome.Rgrds, Marc

Might be great.. Can be very useful if more modems supported. Does not support my modem (e220)

Didn't work on vista. Caused system crash had to unintsall.
